Cloud Instances

Juniper Mist supports multiple clouds. The following are the supported Juniper Mist Cloud regions:

AWS environment

  1. Global 01 – used by customers worldwide and hosted on AWS, DC region – US-West.
  2. Global 03 – used by customers worldwide and hosted on AWS, DC region – US-East (Preferred)
  3. Europe 01 – used by customers in the EU who require GDPR Compliance and hosted on AWS, DC region – AWS-eu-central-1 (Frankfurt, Germany)
  4. APAC 01 – used by customers in Asia Pacific region and hosted on AWS, DC region – ap-southeast-2 (Sydney, Australia)
  5.  Mist Federal – used by US customers who require US government compliance, FedRAMP, and hosted on AWS, DC region (AWS GovCloud – US) – (Eastern and Northwestern part of the US)

GCP environment

  1. Global 02 – used by select customers and hosted on GCP, DC region – US-West
  2. Global 04 – used by customers in Canada and hosted on GCP, DC region – northamerica-northeast1 (Montreal, Quebec)

Once you select a cloud, a new browser tab will open, pointing to the Mist UI on that cloud:

Notice that your email address and cloud name are listed at the top of the page to help you remember where you are at.
The cloud name is listed in the browser tabs as well.

To minimize the clicks required:

  • the global sign-in page will remember your email for the next time
  • if you have access to only one cloud, you will go straight there rather than seeing the cloud chooser

When you select “Create Account” on the global sign-in page, you must choose a region.
These region buttons will take you to the account creation page for the selected cloud as the default cloud for that region.
