There are two options for power negotiation using LLDP-MED:
1. LLDP Power Via MDI TLV IEEE 802.3-2015
The extended Power-via-MDI TLV enables advanced power management between LLDP-MED Endpoints and Network Connectivity Devices.
2. Legacy LLDP Power via MDI TLV IEEE 802.1AB-2009
We support both types but prefer option 1, as this TLV provides significantly more information than option 2.
