Changes on the WLAN that will reset radios

Making certain changes on your WLANs may cause the AP radios to reinitialize in order to obtain the new configuration.  This will temporarily Deauthenticate any clients connected to that AP.  The following are some WLAN changes and their impact on the radios:

Name change:  reset radio

Selecting specific radio :  reset radio

Band steering :  No impact

Client Inactivity :  No impact

Geofence :  No impact

Data rate :  reset radio

WiFi Protocols :  reset radio

WLAN Rate Limit :  No impact

Selecting different authentication method :  reset radio

Adding, deleting, modifying RADIUS Authentication, Accounting, CoA Servers :  reset radio

Fast roaming :  reset radio

Guest Portal changes :  reset radio

prohibit peer to peer communication : No impact

Filtering (Wireless) :  No impact

DTIM period :  No impact

SSID Scheduling : No impact

QoS Priority :  No impact

Multimedia Extensions : reset radio

Application QoS :  No impact

Bonjour Gateway :  No impact
