Company Appoints Jeff Aaron as Vice President of Marketing and Dave Gagné as Vice President of Sales to capitalize on huge demand for cloud-based wireless services that deliver amazing mobile experiences

Jeff Aaron has nearly 25 years of experience marketing in the high tech space, bringing various companies to leadership positions through effective demand generation, content creation, partner marketing, and press/analyst relations. Most recently, he was Vice President of Marketing at PernixData, a leader in storage acceleration and analytics. Prior to that he worked at Silver Peak Systems, Airespace (acquired by Cisco), Turnstone Systems, and Newbridge Networks (acquired by Alcatel).
Dave Gagné brings more than 30 years of experience in networking and software sales to Mist, where he will be responsible for expanding Mist’s revenue through customer and partner acquisition. Prior to joining Mist, Gagné was vice president of sales at Zebra Technologies. Prior to that, he headed up North American sales for Motorola Solutions’ WLAN business and served as Vice President of Sales at four start-ups: AirDefense, Engim, T-Networks and Tioga Technologies. Gagné was also Director of Sales at Actel and Sharp.
Aaron and Gagné join a team of experts who are responsible for pioneering the modern wireless and cloud era. This includes:
- Bob Friday (CTO and co-founder), who previously played key roles at Cisco, Airespace, and Metricom and is generally known as the original Network World “wireless wizard”
- Brett Galloway (Chairman and co-founder), who was formerly CEO of Airespace and a senior vice president at Cisco responsible for enterprise networking and security
- Sujai Hajela (CEO and co-founder), who most recently served as senior vice president of Enterprise Networking at Cisco Systems, and prior to that was the VP/GM for Cisco’s wireless business and had leadership roles at Motorola, Symbol, and Alteon
- Randy Frei (Chief Architect), formerly of Ubiquiti and Skypilot
- Sudheer Matta (Vice President of Products), who worked at Cisco, Juniper Networks and Trapeze
- Ramin Naimi (Vice President of Engineering), who brings extensive experience from Yahoo, Shutterfly and Tinyprints
